About

Hi, I’m Ginger (she/her/hers)

I’m so glad you’re here.

If life is feeling really hard right now, I understand, and you’re not alone.

Take a deep breath… and another… and one more.

Now read on.

I deeply understand what you’re going through. I struggled with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and symptoms of grief and loss for most of my young life. For years I fought with the way my brain and nervous system were built and functioning in the world was a constant battle. I was sure there was something deeply wrong with me and that I just didn’t belong here… I couldn’t have been more wrong.

It took some time but, when I finally understood what I needed, everything started to fall into place. It was my own healing process that taught me the skills to support others and it was through this process that I learned something very important about healing.

Our greatest gifts are forged in the fires of our difficulties.

I didn’t know it at the time, but my experiences, my struggles, my challenges, the battles won and lost, were all stepping stones on the path back to myself. I could not have discovered who I truly was without that journey, and I certainly wouldn’t be here sharing this with you.

I hold a masters degree in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Systems Counseling from the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS) at Bastyr University. I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington and a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I’ve been in private practice for 19 years.

I live and work on a beautiful horse farm in the foothills of Mount Baker, surrounded by rolling pasture and giant cedar trees. I share my home with my husband, three horses, a dog, and a cat. I’ve done my best to create a therapy space that is nestled in nature and feels safe and nurturing both for myself and for my clients.
